Most people were entitled to the same right, but some were different by the way they choose their leaders. One way was that they were divided up into two houses. The Glorious Revolution made the people go back to governing themselves.

Well at first the slaves were treated like indentured servants, but later on most states passed a permanent enslave laws.

Describe initial Spanish exploration of the New World:
They went to Ponce de Leonce in search of the fountain of Youth, and then Vosco Nunez Balboa went though Panama to find the Pacific Ocean. After that Cortes conquered the Aztecs, and then Pizarro conquered the Inca in Peru.
Describe Spanish exploration of what would become US including their treatment of Indians:
The Indians told them where to find gold which was in the Pueblos but the Spanish found out that they were being lied to because when they got there they found nothing and came back to kill them.
Describe French Exploration of the New World:
Verrazano and Cartier two French explores set sail for the new world to find the Northwest Passage. The French king claimed the region that they explored around which is the mouth of the St.Lawrence River. To get rid of rivals the French built a fort on the River and made Quebec. The French did fight with the Indians because they were trading fur with them.
Describe French founding of New Orleans:
First in 1682 Robert de La Salle wanted to find to find a Northwest Passage instead made his way south on Mississippi River. He claimed the land around the Mississippi River Basin for France after he got to the Gulf of Mexico, and named it New Orleans.
Describe Dutch Exploration in North America:
The Dutch had formed a Permanent settlement at Fort Nassau or New Netherlands. To guard the mouth of the Hudsan River they built New Amsterdam at the tip of Manhattan Island giving them a good seaport. In 1664 New York was born the English rivals to the Dutch forced them to give up their colonies in which they renamed it New York and New Amsterdam was renamed New York City.
Describe the discovery of Pennsylvania:
Pennsylvania was a paid debt by King Charles II to Quaker William Penn. The King gave it to him as a proprietary colony which soon came to be a great place to grow crops because of it rich soil, great water sources, and wonderful climate.

Describe the Puritans and why they came to the New World:
The Puritans were Christian but they were tired of being under King Henry VIIIs’ rule so they came to New England and started their own church.
Describe Puritan Society:
The Puritan Society is very ironic they left from religious reign but would not give it to their own people.
Describe Puritan interaction with the Indians:
The Puritans’ thought that the Indians were savages. The Puritans wanted the Indians land for cultivation. After the war the Puritans moved the Indians to praying towns were they could convert them.
Describe King Phillip’s War:
In King Phillip's War the puritans were in war with the Indians over fur trade so there was an massive Indian rebellion at first the Indians were winning by trading weapons but soon ran out of ammo so it was ended.

Why did the colonist settle in Jamestown?
They settled in Jamestown because in 1619 VA company offered 50 acres of free land for farming.
What Indians did the colonist deal with in Jamestown?
The colonist dealt with the Powhatan Indians.
What hardships did the people of Jamestown face?
The hardships that the colonist had to face were the insects and the diseases that they bought, so that while they were sick they could not tend to their crops.
What crop becomes the one that allows Jamestown to turn a profit? He only crop that turned a profit was tobacco in 1616.
What are the effects of the Jamestown colonies expansion?
The effects of the Jamestown colonies expansion were that the Indians were enraged and fought the colonist in both 1632 and 1644 the Indians killed most but were defeated by disease.
